b) Diploma in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Engineering)

In 1986, the first BSc. Degree students were admitted to the BSc. Programme in Agricultural Engineering when the college was upgraded to become a constituent college of the University of Nairobi.  In 1987 when Egerton University became fully pledged university, it continued to offer the BSc degree in Agricultural Engineering under the Faculty of Agriculture.
