B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering
The Agricultural Engineering programme imparts knowledge that influences mind-set to re-engineer Agriculture through internalising technology based comprehensive mechanisms for sustained yields and natural resource base.
The programme covers areas such as Soil and Water Conservation, Farm Power and Machinery, Irrigation, Agricultural Structures, Agricultural Processing, and Renewable energy. The programme provides core element of engineering that are recognised by professional bodies such as Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) and Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and are crucial in enhancing the performance of the Agricultural sector.
Admission Requirement
The admission requirement shall be based on Egerton University Statute article 37(2) of 2023.
